Day 52: How Ell Sleeps

Ell's naptime schedule has recently changed; He has dropped the 2nd nap of the day.  I can tell he's really zonked when he sleeps like this:

Day 51: We Went to the Beach!!!

No, really, we did.  It was at Tuttle Puddle...I'm not even sure what the real name of it is.  The boys LOVED swimming and playing in the sand.  I forgot how the sand gets EVERYWHERE.  We took some Dollar General off-brand Cheese-itz (which taste JUST like the real deal...you're welcome) and swam and snacked and dug and swam and snacked some more.

Day 50: The Dirt is Still Here

We still have no street.  This is the best thing that's happened to Gabe when it comes to playing outside.

This is the pot of flowers I have been watering and watering to try and keep it beautiful in the 105 degree weather we've had for over a month straight.  (I'm really not exaggerating.  Check this out.)

Day 49: Having Daddy Home

One of the BEST parts of summer is having Jacob home more.  He works for his dad during the summer, helping on the farm.  But he takes Fridays off, which means we get to spend an extra whole day with him every week!

Day 48: More haircuts!

This time, all of the Engle men got their hair cut.  Who will cut Mommy's hair?
